Preparing for NEET-PG can feel overwhelming. There are so many subjects that it is hard to decide what deserves your next study session.

This list gives you a place to start: 100 important NEET-PG topics, arranged in a suggested revision order using patterns from previous-year questions (PYQs).

You do not need to finish all 100 at once. Start with topics you find difficult, practise MCQs, and return to the ones you get wrong.

How to use this list

Already know a topic? Test yourself with a few MCQs before spending time rereading it. Keep getting questions wrong? Move that topic higher in your personal revision plan.

The numbers below show where to begin revising, not how many questions will appear from a topic. You can change the order based on your own weak areas.

Top 100 NEET-PG topics to revise

The topic names are shown with their subjects so you can find them quickly in your notes, question bank or flashcards.

A simple revision routine that works with this list

  1. Choose five topics. Start with topics you find difficult, preferably from the earlier part of the list.
  2. Attempt MCQs first. See what you remember without checking notes.
  3. Understand your mistakes. Read the explanations for questions you got wrong or guessed.
  4. Revise actively. Use flashcards or short self-test questions instead of rereading the entire chapter.
  5. Check again later. Repeat the questions or recall the answers after a gap. Then choose your next topics.

If a topic is already a strength, give it a quick check and spend more time where your answers are less reliable.

Should you study only these 100 topics?

No. NEET-PG can test material beyond this list. These 100 topics are a useful starting point, not a substitute for your full preparation plan.

Use the list to make revision less overwhelming. Then work through other important areas, especially topics you keep getting wrong in practice tests.

Turn PYQs into a flashcard revision routine

Knowing which topics matter is only the first step. Use PYQs to find your weak areas, and flashcards to remember what you missed.

  1. Choose a topic from the list, such as Neisseria, Moraxella & Other Gram-Negative Cocci (Microbiology).
  2. Attempt related previous-year MCQs from your question bank, without looking at the answers.
  3. Review the explanations, particularly the concepts behind incorrect or guessed answers.
  4. Practise active recall with flashcards so you can explain the correct concept without rereading everything.
  5. Retest yourself later with MCQs to see whether you can now apply what you remember.

You don't need to copy entire PYQs onto flashcards. A short prompt testing the concept behind your mistake is often more useful.

Use NeuroFlip to revise high-priority topics

NeuroFlip uses past-question topic patterns to help you decide what to revise first. Its flashcards help you practise recalling those concepts between MCQ sessions. Use it alongside your PYQs, notes and question bank—not as a replacement for them.

Frequently asked questions

Select a question to see its answer.

Are these the 100 questions most likely to appear in NEET-PG?

No. These are important topics to consider revising, not predicted questions. Previous-year questions can guide revision, but nobody can guarantee the next paper.

Is this a list of the 100 most repeated PYQs?

No. It is a topic revision priority list informed by past questions. A topic with more past questions may not always be higher in the list.

Do I need to study topics 1–100 in exactly this order?

No. Use the list as a starting point. Revise weak topics earlier, especially those you repeatedly miss in MCQs.

Can I skip other subjects after completing these 100 topics?

No. NEET-PG can test topics beyond this list. Keep covering your main syllabus and learning from mock tests.

How should I use PYQs and flashcards together?

Attempt PYQs or other relevant MCQs first. Review each mistake, then use a short flashcard to practise remembering the key concept. Reattempt similar questions later to check your understanding.

Does NeuroFlip replace PYQ practice or a question bank?

No. NeuroFlip flashcards help you recall and revise topics. Keep practising previous-year MCQs, reviewing explanations and using your main question bank for application.
